k i was just saying no one ever wants to trade for my dagger and goes on about how it sucks wow you got those nice happy hunting no offense meant
Nah. He got a belt for it because the collar really is a waste. I would have traded him also had someone else not beat me to that awesome score.
My apologies, i was in a bit of a mood this morning. Yes I did get both items. Personally I am surprised that no one has taken you up on that dagger. Its a great off hand weapon and the crit range from 17-20 (with improved crit) is not bad at all.
I wonder if people look at it as damage of 1d4 only instead of the mass con damage it can produce?
Anyways, I am truly sorry for being a jerk earlier, it was out of line.
My best to you

brshelton,
You wanted to trade your dagger for a rapier so stop your whining about not being able to get a trade.
Now you want to include the dagger in a trade for four tome pages. Maybe you'll get that trade, maybe you wont but as far as I can tell you either do one of two things:
1) Post trade requests and then never follow through with the post/list your wants
2) Post unreasonable trades and then wonder why no one will trade you
If you want people to take your trade requests seriously you need to make serious posts and follow through with them. You can't make a post and then claim that you've not been able to log into the game for a week but yet you're able to post on the forums day after day after day. You're free to feel how you want about an item you have and an item you want but trying to trade heavily in favor of yourself usually gets you nowhere fast.
Listen to the advice you are given; usually it is correct.
um ok well seems i can't connect to log on server but forums.ddo.com uses different ports so... and i wanted to trade 2 daggers for a rapier not 1
Not real likely on account that its only 10% increase. And considering that I'm a two-weapon fighting barbarian, I'll take my 7 attacks a round that I get vs your four. Plus, hey, I'm using wounding/puncturing rapiers. Beholders last about three seconds with their 12 con.
But for the typical tank/fighter build I do understand your point. I just don't think its worth it when theres better items you could be wearing. I guess if you tend to run with wizards/sorcerers/bards who refuse to cast haste or don't understand how then it has its uses but the casters in my guild are sticklers when it comes to keeping everyone hasted.
