Default Need some advice on a build

I just got my first 32 point builds availabale about 5 minutes ago, im not the best player and have a +1 charisma and +1 int tome at my disposal. I am assuming i can get +6 items for each stat
Im looking towards a 11 fighter/3 paladin build intimitank-starting stats:
    16 strength +3 levels +3 class +2 1750 tome +6 item= 30
    14 dex +6 item =20
    10 con +2 race +6 item= 18
    12 int +1 tome= 13
    8 wis +6 item= 14
    14 charisma +1 tome + 1 class + 6 item= 22

for feats im planning on taking combat expertise, improved trip, dodge, 3 weapon specializations, improved critical slashing, power attack, and toughness

I will be using a dwarven waraxe and tower shield, have no major raid loot yet.

Any suggestions or flaws in my design please point out, this will be my first build with tomes.

I would suggest level 1 rogue as a possibility. This could let you finish 10/3/1.

It will cost you 4 hit points and 1 BAB and gain 1d6 backstab and UMD trainable at 1 per level. With your intelligence high enough for combat expertise it might be viable for you to train UMD and it's really, really nice to have. 11 fighter doesn't give you anything.

Also, your stats look a bit low. Are you missing some points there?

level 11 fighter allows you to take fighter tower shield mastery III and fighter armor mastery III (although w/ only 20-22 dex you don't have to worry about this)

I would drop cha down to 12 (20 ending cha is more than enough to make the paladin levels worthwhile)... the 2 extra increases aren't worth 4 build points IMO... I would drop 2 points dex to give you 15 +6 item +1 tome = 22 dont worry if you don't have the tome yet they are quite easy to find... put the other 2 points into either wisdom or con...

    for feats you'll get 11

5 regular feats and 6 fighter feats
the feats you have are pretty much what I would do... probably drop power attack for something else...

Iron will is a really nice feat, bull headed could be usefull but I like iron will more...

If you want to go w/ umd I think you should decide what you want out of it... for RR items you wont need skill focus 17 ranks +5 cha = 22 UMD enough for pretty much any item in the game... if you want to use scrolls though skill focus will be very helpful

ty for the input, but i think i will stick with 1 level of rogue. This will give me better umd, and +1 dex to make 14+1enhancement+1tome+6= 22. This means i can keep the 14 charisma for +1 to all saves and umd. As for the fighter enhancements i can wait until 16.
I will switch power attack for bullheaded.

I have made this build to level 6 so far at level advancement
    rogue
    fighter
    pally
    pally
    fighter
    pally

I am really enjoying this build hardly anything touches me very often but my to-hit is a bit low at times atm

One thing that is concerning me though is umd, at my first lvl rogue i could put in 4 umd, then for the next 4 levels i could only put in .5 at a time, and yesterday when i went to level 6 i could suddenly put in 1.5 so i sacrificed jump and intimidate for that level.

Earlier in this thread i learned that if i put in a level of rogue i could put in 1 umd per level, and i couldnt so i assumed that person was wrong, but what has suddenly happened to me at level 6 when i put in 1.5 umd?

What happens is that since you have it as a class skill for rogue it makes it so you can have full ranks (17 at level 14, 9 at level 6 where ur at now) but since it isn't a class skill for fighter or paladin you will have to spend 2 skill points for every 1 rank (but you can spend those 2 skill points at the same level so you'll be able to put x2 as many skill points into umd for x2 the return...)
