Unbelievable offhand weapon

I want to trade a +2 Short Sword of seeker +10 ML12.

I am interested in any of the following
straight platinum - 50K
Chaosguard
any 4% or 5% weighted item (does this exist naturally, or just in the Tor?)

a bloodstone is much more valuable than the ss. bloodstone occupies the trinket slot and thus for a 1H toon, they can still use a shield. for the twf, they can use another burster. in addition, a ss isnt really considered a good off hand weapon. its not a "light" weapon and thus the user would incur additional penalties. just few weeks back, i sold my +10 seeker light mace for 200k pp. some1 must be real desperate....

I think the problem with seeker +10 weapons is that they're of low value unless they crit often... say, like a falchion or scimtar. Having no extra damage whatsoever on a non-crit can really spank your DPS, but critting frequently can help make up for that loss.

I am 99% sure that any seeker bonus in your off hand also applies to your main hand... a good DPS rapier in your main hand with IC:Pierce and this +10 seeker ss will throw an extra average 30 damage per round (1 hit per round from main hand critting, one hit every other round from off hand critting) onto your numbers just from the seeker bonus...

You are correct, the off-hand seeker will apply to all equipped weapons. Now compare it to equipping a +X Holy Shortsword of Pure Good. That's 9d6 per round... arguably equivalent to +30 per round (27 per round if the average of each d6 roll is 3, although I believe there is a general consensus that the average d6 roll is 3.5 or more).

Change that holy to holyburst, or axiomatic/anarchic burst, and the seeker weapon really starts to fall behind.

Arguably this might be mitigated by the +10 to confirm crits... that adds something to the DPS, although I rarely fail to confirm a crit.

Then there is the argument that seeker applies to all monster alignments... but the counter to that is that it does not apply to things that are immune to crits.

Seeker is a great add-on for TWFers, but in my opinion, kinda weak if it is the *only* addon. Not useless or worthless, but easily outdone by weapons that are somewhat easy to find.

I saw 2 seeker +10 in the house K store this morning. One was a khopesh the other a SS.....My first time in that store in a long time. Many people go there anymore since the advent of the auction house?
