    Default Waiting forever

So last night I was in a group doing Ghost of perdition and doing the optional. At one point on the 4th wave, we dimension doored back up top to regroup, team was doing well. When we came back down one of our members was a bit slow and came down after us, by the time he got there we had finally wiped and he could NOT get to us as the ceiling had frozen over. So no one had left the quest or anything and ceiling had froze over. I know there are some of you out there that are uber good at it, but we were trying for the extra chest which can take a little longer and we had a few guys who had not done it. Still all in all, good effort. We put in tickets to have at least the DM do something. Ofcourse not! So this morning I logged on and checked the status, they said they coudlnt help due to me being logged off. According to the game information it was exactly 1hour and 10min later that they responded to my ticket. I was wondering if anyone else has had this speedy help from the DM's.

Sorry to hear bout your luck. I've been stuck in places before and I know its crappy. As to the waiting time it happens. Especially during prime time or late nights. genereal rule of thumb is once you've put in a ticket dont leave quest and dont log off. i thats not possible due to time issues you just have to call it a loss. A gm can take 5 minutes to fix your problem and be the best one you ever contacted or they can be the exact opposite of that and you have to go to the next level of gm. and that takes even longer lol. But most of the ones I've dealt with try to make it quick. the delay really isnt their fault anyways. Just depends on how many tickets are lodged at that time.

I have had long wait times for a GM myself amny times... most recent one was 45 minute wait in Von5 when the guy with the Voice DC'ed and we couldn't continue the quest.

It was faster to restart the quest.

I'm pretty new but I have also had that problem, twice. The first time we waited and waited and waited and then all logged off, and I got the exact same GM email. The second time, in a different quest, we found the bug right away and restarted, found bug again and restarted, then restarted again, and it worked the fourth time.

It sucks, but I guess it happens.

The response times are being improved, everyone should see a noticeable difference in response times within the next month or so.

From what I know about DDO's case tracking. What happenes is your case comes in but the system they utlize can be a bit slow in assigning the ticket. So give it a little bit and I think you will be happy with the new changes they are implementing.
