Mithral is a material and should never take away some other effect.

I think, when generating items, the total cost is worked in, and Mithral costs money.

I feel like Ive had better pulls since non-class-specific too. I'd rather have a couple super-lore scepters in there than the usual 3 ghost touch shields and 4 brigandines with sacred or improved fire resist.

Yeah, I've always wanted some scepters and such to boost healing spells and such, but never got any, unless it's from a chest.

mithral will increase the base worth of an item but not the minimum level.

Which means if you get a bunch of level 8 rewards Mithral will not be taking the place of an enchantment that would be on that item it's a free bonus to the item, just like Admantine, Silver, and such.

You will find +1 Mithral shields on the +2 vendor in the marketplace because they do not look at level, but cost of the item and Mithral(or something like unusual durability) raises the cost.

On topic: To be honest, my ranger has always been my loot puller on end rewards. That girl gets fabulous stuff.

I did try class end rewards on my Sorc. I was not pleased. I mean honestly, how many robes can one girl wear?

Dane, yes I feel my pulls have been "better" since I changed the setting in gameplay. The items are of greater variety and because not all my characters are melee, they now have the *choice* to take items which will have more value at the AH.

See now I'm torn. I would like class-related loot end rewards to be as good as random.

At the same time, we now have a choice, so maybe it just needs to stay the same. Since I'm getting good items.

Before "Random End Rewards": about a year and a half of playing, only "good" loot received was a +5 mithral breastplate.

After "Random End Rewards": about a week and a half of playing, got two +1 charisma tomes and one +1 intelligence tome, and a +1 paralyzing bastard sword.

I'm liking the new system... oh, let's say... a little bit.

My apologises Mr. Dane sir... I am most sorry to have caused your wonderful rant to have become de-railed.

On topic: My sorc can only wear ONE robe at a time... she doesn't need 50 of the blasted things in her inventory.

On my cleric, I am particularly found of the ghost touch shield. I only have two arms guys...

Random did not help so much as it just made me laugh when instead of a list of all robes and one Specter I now get 2 wands, a potion of sp yumminess and more robes as my choices...
