The Ole... "A web server...."

I have just arrived in China from the US and blam, got this error. This is the same laptop, no changes, and the same hotel. Reading the forums, I followed some of the advice floating about in regards to:

"A web server error has occured while accessing the databases"

I changed my time, both in BIOS & window, also uninstalled net 1.1 and reinstalled it to no avail.
