Look, a number of people seem to have their own little profiteering racket going on with these trade lists. God bless ya for having the ability to do it. I'm just not that frequent a player, or haven't been that lucky, or maybe I just haven't got the capitalist, free-market spirit that seems to drive the asking price of some items. All I know is that I would really love to acquire a +6 STR gloves, and I'd prefer to trade for 'em instead of trying to buy one at the AH. I can offer one (or more) of the following in exchange:

• +1 Holy Hvy Xbow of Gr Undead Bane

I have had a trade thread up here for a while, and it seems like no one wants to deal, or they want l33t for their ****.

Right now, the pattern on the trade forums is to see how you can bypass the Auction House fees and stipulations, by getting a feel for how much an item can go for, before you put it on the AH, and the new AH policy of not being able to pull items an hour after they are posted.

We are all looking to get an outrageous deal for our garbage, so we can get the platy needed for the top-tiered items that the next guy is selling. meanwhile, THAT guy is trying to sell his garbage for the plat needed to buy another guys top-tiered items.

We are all looking for the one guy out there who has an overabundance of plat, willing to buy our outrageously priced items which, will never perform up to the asking price, but who cares? it's all we have to do at this point.
