I am posting a suggested Build-Out for the upcoming Level 16 Cap Bump. As we don't have all the Feat & Enhancement Information, I am basing it on what we currently have, and what we do know about the upcoming Mod 6. The Level 15 Feats will have a few options, as I am not quite sure the best way to go right now.

    The Holy Avenger

    Level 16 Human
    Lawful Good
    11 Paladin / 2 Rogue / 3 Fighter

    Stats:
    ----------------------
    STR: 17 + 4 (Levels) + 2 (1750 Tome) + 1 (Fighter Str 1) + 6 (Item) = 28 (+9)
    DEX: 12 + 1 (Tome) + 1 (Rogue's Dex 1) + 6 (Item) = 20 (+5)
    CON: 13 + 1 (Tome) + 6 (Item) = 20 (+5)
    INT: 9 + 1 (Tome) + 6 (Item) = 16 (+3)
    WIS: 9 + 1 (Tome) + 1 (Human Wis 1) + 5 (Item) = 16 (+3)
    CHA: 15 + 1 (Tome) + 2 (Paladin Cha 2) + 6 (Item) = 22 (+6)
    ----------------------
    Alternate Build #1: WIS: 12 + 1 (Tome) + 1 (Human Wis 1) + 6 (Item) = 20 (+5) *AND*
    Alternate Build #1: CHA: 13 + 1 (Tome) + 2 (Paladin Cha 2) + 6 (Item) = 22 (+6)
    *OR*
    Alternate Build #2: INT: 8
    Alternate Build #2: WIS: 11 + 1 (Tome) = 12 (+1)

    Alternate Build #2: CHA: 14 + 1 (Tome) + 2 (Paladin Cha 2) + 1 (Human Adapt Cha) + 6 (Item) = 24 (+7)
NOTE: Alternate Build #2 will not hit 16 INT without a Human Adaptability AP or a +2 Tome, but would work well with the "Force of Personality" Feat (Uses Cha Bonus for Will Save instead of Wis) and then wear no Wisdom Item, except when you need to cast Level 2 Spells.

    Level Progression:
    ----------------------
    L1-L7 - Paladin
    L8-L9 - Rogue
    L10-L13 - Paladin
    L14-16 - Fighter
    ----------------------

    Feats:
    ----------------------
    1) Exotic Weapon: Kopesh
    1) Least Dragonmark of Passage
    3) Toughness
    6) Skill Focus: UMD
    9) Improved Critical: Slashing
    12) Lesser Dragonmark of Passage
    14F) Power Attack
    15) Cleave
    15B) Great Cleave

Other Feat Pair Options for Level 15:
Shield Mastery & Improved Shield Mastery
Dodge & Mobility (Preparing for Spring Attack @ L17)
Greater Dragonmark & Weapon Focus: Slashing/Stunning Blow
Two-Handed Fighting & Improved Two-Handed Fighting (But I think Cleave & Great Cleave is a better option)
Extend Spell & WF: Slash/Stunning Blow
Force of Personality & WF: Slash (This would be a good option for Alternate Build #12, gaining +6 Will Save and no need for +WIS Item.
Skill Focus: Intimidate & Shield Mastery (for a Intimidate-focused alternate build)

NOTE: If you do not want to go the Dragonmarked route, then there are a number of good options for those 2 feats + L15 Feats:
    Dodge+Mobility+Spring Attack+Weapon Focus
    SM+ISM+Cleave+Great Cleave
    Extend+Force of Personality+__+__
SF:Intimidate+SM+ISM+Stunning Blow (For an Intimitank variant)
    ----------------------

    Skill Points:
    ----------------------
Level 1-7 - Max UMD, Jump. After INT Tome is used, put remaining point in Balance

Here are my stats so far excluding enchanted bonuses.....I dont see any level stat increases...is this possible or does the level stat increase show up in your base number?

STR 17 +1 feat (Human adapt)
DEX 10 +2 feat (rogue and human adapt)
    CON 15 +1 tome
    INT 8
    WIS 9 +1 tome
    CHA 16 +2 (Paladin Cha)

    Your base stats equal 74
    Mine equal 75

    Any thoughts?

The Character Sheet shows "Base" as your Base Starting Stat + Level-Up Increases. They do not differentiate. So if you started with 17 STR, and put +1 @ 4 & +1 @ 8, then looked at your Character Sheet, it would like 19 as your Base Strength.

Also, your listed stats: 17/10/15/8/9/16 tells me that you must have put a Stat Point into either Constitution or Charisma, and you are between Level 4 & 7. A 32-point build cannot start with the above listed stats, it could either be 17/10/14/8/9/16 or 17/10/15/8/9/15. The points do not work out properly otherwise (Unless you are between Level 8 and 11, and you put one point in Dex and one in Wis, which I doubt.)

The 74 vs. 75 doesn't work, as it isn't the sum of the numbers, but the point-buy array value of each number.
Humans start @ 8 in each stat. 9-14 are 1 point each, 15-16 is 2 points each, 17-18 is 3 points each:

    17 STR = 13 points
    10 DEX = 2 points
    15 CON = 8 points
    8 INT = 0 points
    9 WIS = 1 point
    16 CHA = 10 points
    ---------------------
34 points - Not a valid starting build. Drop Cha to 15 or Con to 14, and it makes a 32-point build. (It can't be STR, as dropping 17 to 16 is 3 points, and that doesn't add up.

So go take every item and buff off yourself, stand in a corner away from everyone and check your stats. then tell me what level you are, and we can figure it out, but my guess is that you are between Level 4 and 7, and you put your point in CHA or CON. Also, what build were you following, as these stats don't seem familiar to me for starting point.

    Thanks,

    Dworkin,
I apologize for not giving you all of Dokkens info.
He is a lvl 14 28 pt Evasion Paladin 11/2/1.

Sorry for my nooberness. This is my first and only character atm. I was looking at your 32 pt build and comparing it with my 28 pt build wondering why the numbers did not add up. BTW it was cold and raining when I took off all my gear....Brrrrr...

Do you find the 28 pt build can keep up with the 32 pt tanks?

    Thanks

The 4 points at character creation are very helpful, but I would not consider them make-or-break.

Look at it this way, a 32-point Holy Avenger (I am guessing you were doing a Holy-Avenger-like 28-point build) would be at 20, 10, 15, 8, 9, 15 for "Base"... then add 2 Tomes, like you have... for 20/10/16/8/9/16 (Con & Cha)...

So they would be +3 STR, +1 CON to your build... or 14 hit points and +1/2 To-Hit and +1/2 Damage... big deal? That is really not that big of a difference in the long run. +1 or +2 To Hit & Damage is nice, but not killer.. and the 14 hit points can be gained by eating a Con Tome.

I really don't think any build is "inferior" because it is a 28-point... it may be a little bit behind the 32-point in a few stats, but 1-2 points is not going to be that huge of a difference, as long as you play your character well. I ran into someone recently who took my Mod-4 Holy Avenger, and built it exactly as I detailed, to every stat point, tome, item, and everything... I ran a quest with him and I out-killed him 3-1, didn't die once (to his dying 4 times), and Healed and help Raise other party members while needed. We had the exact same build, and nearly identical weapons and equipment... yet after the run, the rest of the party was praising me for my job in the run and calling the other guy a total 'n00b'... What is the difference? It is HOW you play your character. I have some of my best fun playing my original main, a 28-point Dwarven Battle Cleric (13 Cleric / 1 Barbarian, 6 base Charisma, 26 STR)... he is an absolutely messed-up build, yet there are plenty of people on my server who ask me to bring him on quests and raids, and love me to be in the party... is it because he is a good build? No... in fact, he's a pretty craptastical build... but I know how to play him.

In short: Don't worry about 28 vs. 32 point, casual build vs. Min/Max builds... learn to play your character to the best of your ability and the betterment of the party, and no one will worry about what your build or stats or anything are... they will want you around because you play the game well.

    Ummm, Paladin + Rogue + Fighter = 3 Classes.

The build goes Paladin for Levels 1-7 (1 Class), then Rogue for 8-9 (2 Classes), then back to Paladin for 10-13 (Still 2 Classes), then Fighter for 14 (3 Classes).
