    Unhappy Server Lag in Instances

Just checking to see if I am the only person experiencing pretty serious server lag anywhere outside of taverns.

When I enter a dungeon or even an exploration area I notice my received bps drops considerably and every 10-15 seconds drops to 0 which sticks me to the floor and prevents any and all actions.

After 5-10 seconds the received bps will jump back to 500-600 and the game will move again. 10-15 seconds later it will repeat.

I have no problems with other MMO (City of Heroes, Tabula Rasa, WoW, Etc.) only DDO and only since the last update.

I am on Argonessen. This has pretty much made the game simply unplayable.

Any help or advice would be appreciated. Even if you just chime in to let me know I am not the only person with this issue.

    Thanks.

Since it's so close to server maintance, I would just hold tight with what you got and see what happens afterwards. Read all the known issues with networks. The lag sounds like your network/router has a problem. But it could be other things too, that's why you probably should wait.

    I agree with waiting.

I would accept my router as the problem if other apps were problematic and if I had done a single thing to my router in the last year... but I haven't.

One way to find out for sure would be to bypass the router and try playing, also do a tracert to gls.lotro.com and post that as it may be revealing problems too if this is a constant issue.

    Post server maintenance... no problemo.

Guess my router is innocent... this time anyway.

    Thanks for the input.
