Grrrr....

A fleshie I was grouped with...an un enemy...
Was making fun of the 2 screaming WF running from the evil
GianT RusT monsers that killed me in 2 hits in threnals...

Grrrr....

We were discussing defenses...it was a near party wipe...Against the Bugs Of Greater WF Bane...and how moderate fortification does noting to prevent them disolving and eating us... Ever critical of our ways...the Bugs Of Greater WF Bane Auto crit and kill us without remorse...

He said wait till you guys get Blueshine Docents...

Tips for dealing with rust monsters:

• Get acid resistance. Some of the damage rust monsters do to Warforged is in the form of acidic damage from rusting effects.
  
• Get stoneskin if possible. It will help keep you alive.
  
• Boost those fortitude and reflex saves to help mitigate stunning and acidic damage.
  
• Get a shield. If you get stunned you can still (for some odd reason) block.
  
• Hunker in a corner and block, preferably with stoneskin. If the rust monster does 0 damage to you then you are not forced to roll on a stun check.
  
• Tell the flesh bags to be useful and kill them fast. Make them pull their weight for once. They are your servants after all... right?

Blushine armor prevents the armor from being damaged by rust / acid, It doesn't protect the wearer. Beside, a docent doesn't cover up your entire body.

Everytime a rust monster ''spits'' you have to make a reflex save to avoid the stunning so if you have to deal with them up close make sure to invest in that.

My WF pally solo the rust emperor on elite bare handed.. It takes a minute or 2 but hey, it's a good show and a betting opportunity for my guildies.

Meh..I used to run toword while my fellows ran away from the rust monsters

till that faithful day in threnal when It hit me twice and the second hit was mortal...Before I could get in range..
