    Default Are spell DCs nerfed?

As I understand D&D, a spell's DC is calculated as: 10 + spell level + caster's stat bonus + school focus (if any). This does not seem to be how DDO computes spell DC. DDO's calculation is 10 + spell level + school focus (if any). In otherwords, being a high INT wizard or high CHA sorceror does not affect your spell DCs in DDO. Is this correct? Is this intentional?

I wouldn't be surprised if this is intentional, but I'm disappointed.

It takes your caster stat into account. If you are judging by tooltip sometimes the tooltips display wrong. Cast a couple spells, or change some gear around(potency and lore gear seems to make the tooltips bug out, but i haven't played with it extensively), and with luck it should show the correct DC.

Edit: Oh and bug report it, i keep forgetting to do that, but they hopefully know about it anyway.
    • NEW – Tip #52 no longer mistakenly says that the Jump skill reduces falling damage. The appropriate skill is, in fact, tumble.

Ah. Yeah, I switched over to my lvl 14 Spellsinger from my lvl 6 Wizard. The tooltip seems to been correct on the Bard. I bug reported it, but now I'll have to go back and update the bug.
