    Default Tumble Spell improved?

Did they change the spell Tumble to allow you to tumble without ranks in the skill? Cause my bard has it cast on her right now and I'm tumbling...

Either that or it's a bug. I noticed it on a new toon, just drinking a potion got rid of the N/A that used to be there. Guessing maybe it's because of falling damage in reaver's.../shrug

Um being able to take less fall damage doesn't mean you need a special animation for tumble that putting ranks in grants you.

Sounds like a bug.. But not a big deal anyways, i mean most ppl put the 1 rank in to be able to tumble, if only for fun.

I noticed it on the charged tumble from the reaver as well. Oh well, not that important, but it is pretty nice.

You sure you don't have half a rank in Tumble?

Half a rank shouldn't do it anyway, but absolutely positive.

Noticed this a while back, it seems like tumble is now like jump, giving up to a +30 bonus. It used to cap at 10.

I figure thats how my barb is doing fwd rolls anyways...

How am I supposed to keep a wiki up to date when they don't even post this in the release notes?

I've never seen it Borror0. After seeing this thread, I made a point of asking my guildies with 0 ranks tumble what their modified score was after casting Tumble on them. They all answered 0 or 1 (a different bug that I've not been able to reproduce). People with 1+ ranks Tumble were correctly boosted with +10.

You must have had the charged tumble cast on you by the Reaver's static charges...it gives a +30ish bonus to tumble. The spell used to give +12 and now only gives +10.

Edit: on this tumble topic, Why is it that bards can not get the tumble spell. It is a class skill for crying out loud. Jump but not tumble =

No reason, it doesn't even exist in PnP, as far as I can tell.

Bards can't cast Jump or Tumble. But, Rangers can cast both! I don't understand the logic behind it, casting a spell to boost a skill that the class doesn't even get.
