Default Are Lesser Restore potions gonna be fixed?

Ever since they added the "funnel" to lesser restore potions (letting you select soemone else as a target of potion), they are considered clickies and not potions thus they are on a longer cooldown, interfere with real clickies, cannot be used by madstone/bbn raged ppl.
Seing as how mod5 is a restore fest I woulda thought they woulda been fixed with it's introduction but they weren't.
It seems like an easy thing to fix that would make many ppl happy.

Imo it would be better to get rid of the "funnel" and have it going back to a normal potion, if that's easier to implement.

I hadn't noticed that this was the case, but if so, then..../sgned

They better be fixed and also not once has a dev never commented on it despite being brought up multiple times!

I have said it before and I will say it again Funnels were nothing less than lazy programming that made the potions expendable clickies. How about using some new code before using old code and not thinking it through.

Also making it a clickie made it unusable by raged barbs so they have no way to deal with basic problems that they should be able to handle themselves mid combat.

I gotta say, it is high time this issue received a comment from a dev. It has been brought up MANY times since it was introduced... in what, MOD 3?????????????????

Yes, it's exceedingly annoying to drink a potion and have to worry about the cooldown time on CE, or not be able to drink one due to rage. Fix it. This is a potion, not a spell. This "fix" to make us able to use the potions on others has crippled us in other ways.

It's beyond moronic that drinking a potion has the animation for casting a spell, and all the auxillery effects of spell casting - in particular the facts that my Barbarian cannot drink any while raging and that it breaks my Fighter's Combat Expertise.

This was a lazy "fix" that needs another pass.

With lesser restore clickies already existing, why was there a need to change the potions to be able to be used on others in the first place?

They made the change because not everyone has clickies of lesser restoration and remove paralysis, and it sucks when the cleric is the one that is held or rendered helpless due to stat damage. It's a good idea, just not the best implementation.

Maybe they could implement new "oil of lesser restoration" and "oil of remove paralysis" that can be equipped and thrown, like the blessed water in the Tomb of the Blighted. If this came in, they could put the potion versions back to potions, and make everyone life a little easier.

No, they function as clickies now, not potions.

While I agree that it sucks when the cleric is the one held or rendered helpless due to stat damage, I'm just wondering, are lesser restore clickies really so rare that there was a need to basically make lesser restore clickies worthless in the face of potions that function the same way?

Yes, a fix for this would be good. I am one of the many that get annoyed when my CE turns off from using a lesser restore pot.
