    Default Developers Can you change how the clerics spam heal the mobs

    It's nice that the enemy clerics have unlimited spell points to spam heals. I know you're trying to keep the kids happy that complain the game is too easy but they'll just stop playing after a couple of months anyway. Stuff like this only frustrates the casual gamer and makes them quit too.

    I'd settle for them having to make concentration checks.

    THey DO have to make concentration checks....


    THey just ALL happen to have Quicken Spell as a Meta....

    Well they aren't behaving any differently than our Clerics are. Except they have more mana that regenerates quickly.

    Ah, but mob clerics have it easy! Double-bang healing FTW!

    I only wish I had a cleric back in the days of 130-pt cure light wand whips...

    I think they can instant DV (level 50 DVs) themselves as a free action. Wait! I want to speak to my union rep! That's soooo unfair! Alignment favourism!

    I have limited spell points and I don't turn off quicken. But it's precisely because they have unlimited spell points that this rationale is problematic (and, as I said when they first mentioned enemies with metamagics, them having metamagics at all).

    Associate monster healing with a monty haul regeneration item that isn't lootable and it is nearly the same concept... or all clerical monsters are part troll.

    Funny .

    On a serious note...

    When running favor...if a kobold shaman on a level 2 quest on normal (level 4 elite) can make his concentration check and cast a spell as I'm one-hit-killing him with my lvl 14 dps rogue and STILL hit me with a max/emp scorching ray, there is something seriously wrong with the concentration skills of the mobs.

    • NEW – Tip #52 no longer mistakenly says that the Jump skill reduces falling damage. The appropriate skill is, in fact, tumble.

    Mobs have metamagic feats? They must never use them, then. (Not to change thse subject.)

    Fire Resist (20) can stop a normal scorching ray from a kobold on elite EVERY TIME. Maybe doing 2 points of damage total. If they used maximized/empower, it'd do more damage..like 20 points or so, even with Fire Resist (20) on.

    I've never seen any enemy, in any game, use a visiable metamagic feat. (I don't know if quicken and the like has a symbol appear over their head.)

    How about, no?? This is exactly what our clerics do. Why shouldn't the mobs heal each other?

    Mobs do not make concentration checks.

    They can also magically cast while also fighting. Amazing a talent as that is.

    We have a 5 second cooldown on our Heal spell. Mobs have about 3 seconds. Eladrin claims that mobs use the same cooldowns we do, but I'm not buying it.
