Default Items - ability to unbind

I think it would be a good idea to have a vendor of sorts that can unbind items.

Then what would be point of having them bound?

Why bind them in the first place?

I disagree for a number of reasons. Among them would be that some uber loot could become AH or commonly traded items.

No, thank you. Bound items are bound for a reason. They are specific rewards tied to completing specific quests. They should not be readily available to anyone who has not completed said quest. Additionally, bound items are -2 minimum level and therefore have a benefit in being bound.

I have to largely agree with the replies so far. If you want to argue that they dispense with the bind mechanic entirely, that's one thing, but if you accept that it's in place, then this would seem kind of counter-productive.

Make it so the quest giver will unbind one item he has given you, but that would then flag you as "Unappreciative" and you can never pick up that quest again on that character

    Bind on Equip!!

Trade it/sell it once, and once you put it on, its yours.

I like this idea. This means that everyone would want to keep every item they pull in any raid knowing that they can switch it to an alt or sell/trade it. The only issue I see here is plat farmers, ye gods I can only wonder how much they would sell a SoS for... so how about bind on equip and can only be transferred within your OWN ACCOUNT!!!!!

I would like the idea of anyone being able to run a hard, time consuming quest, and get a token for a one time, unbind (rebind on equip) reward. Each character would be able to do it once (much like the respec for Dragon Marks), and it would serve as a reward for an epic quest (The Heirloom of Destiny, or The Inheritance....etc. etc. etc.)

    Just my two copper.

I wouldn't mind being able to send raid items between chars on your own account and have them bind to that char on equip.Man did it suck to get 3 titanic docents from titan elite but have no wf in party...
