Healing oil is more coagulated.
Have a question about the Eberron Setting?
Ask a Loremaster.
The chunkiness of the healing balms and oils requires us to force it into our systems with pressure. It just so happens that the act of "chewing" on it performs such an action and is an accepted gesture to keep the flesh folk happy in the taverns. It appears that rubbing it into our bodies might be taken the wrong way by certain folks who are intolerant of motions that are remotely promiscuous *Glares at the paladins*.

Its kinda like you don't want to put transmission fluid where the brake fluid goes and vice versa.
Correction: WF use Healing Balms. Think of it a buffing compound for your car/boat/RV. It gets all the scratches out.
As to why they drink tonics/oil? Where else you gonna put it?![]()
