anybody know how the term "uber" worked itself into DDO??? I find it pretty funny. Do people in real life really say UBER? I have never heard it personally used in society.
anyways didn't mean to hijack your thread. I hope you get an UNGODLY amount of Plat for those boots.
PS. CANT WE ALL GET ALONG??? Rodney King said it best.
Here's a link bro.....terms been around a long long UBER time When I was in the Navy and saw a "hottie" we would say she's "Uber ....whatever"

I got no where else to go, nothing else to do, no other boards to post on anymore..might as well do it here.
This isnt really the place to be debating an items given worth. This is merely an auction cause this cleric is running on low funds and the dwarven clergy is supposed to make their own way. No tithes from fellow warriors and so forth.
I'll put my coppers in though, then put the thread back on track. There are many times when that one point cant mean the difference between having to roll a 2, and making it a 1. Every point adds up. "Drop by drop the waterpot is filled." So the wise adventurer steadily increases his defenses. I traded hard and heavy for Karadin's Eye, the slot was ideal, and the resistance is powerhouse. As has been stated before the boots have a solid stride, and with the top end resistance bonus this frees slots, raises saves in such a way that this cannot be dispelled. Another twist is that with the resistance 5 boots, it could open the trinket slot for the reaver's good luck head, Right? So there's +7, before the great hero. Stellar. So it's a Very valuable item. I intended to start the bidding at 750, but sketched a typo and being a dwarf who strives for honor have let it ride.
Deep thanks to the peacekeepers who stepped out of their time to help smooth out mine. It's always good to know that for every man who will throw a rock, another is willing to pick one up and set it aside. Back to task however, Jaysen dropped some confusion into the mix so I'm not certain that his bid was serious. That leaves Tyrsis *** the highest bid thus far.

You're right. I won't deny it. It makes no sense, and it's not my problem..I'm just here to cause problems.
And you just helped me think of a signature. thanks.
We've got 750 going strong, but it wont last long. I'm going to wake up in the morning and close the auction. Clerics need booty too! Do I hear 850?

Sold to the man in the blue hat.
The innocent boots go to Tyrsis for 750 thousand platinums.
The rest of this business will be conducted in the auctioneer's office. Thanks for playing folks.

Congrats Bael. 750 is a very fair amount for those boots on both sides, they save some on AH and you make a little extra because you skip the 30% fee. Grats on both sides, the boots are sweet and well worth it. I have 2 pair, I should know. And I know Tyr was serious, he's a guildie.

It was a serious bid. I dont really see any confusion, but Im not upset or anything.
