Before it was just bad rolls that denied me raid loot, unless no one wanted the item.

Now its just bad rolls that I can't see. And that makes me angry .

I don't know about you but seeing the rolls is better than not. I like to see how I'm getting hosed by seeing that "Vinos rolls 7(d100)"

You are right MT, it is bad rolls.

But the difficulty is up and the odds of a good roll are down. The equates to less loot overall. Good, bad or other I'm not going to argue here. But its less overall loot, and I think the devs did it on purpose.

And I'm sure that Tiny Tim likes noone telling him that the item with his name on it can't be used by his build. There are Pros and Cons across the board. Opinions will vary always. Gripe and cry when you see 9 pieces of loot on one run. So no loot in 3 runs? One good roll session makes up for that easily. Before? you could get beat on a 99 and still be empty-handed.

Never had it happen to me. Even in PuG's. If anyone did try to tell me that I wouldn't have even done the raid with them in the 1st place. Oh and I am sure there is no complaints when the Dex Rogue take a SoS that drops for him.

Well, no.. never happened to me either, but I heard MANY a story about the cleric who couldn't roll on a SoS, or the fighter who couldn't roll on the dragon helm, etc etc. So I know it WAS happening, and this change took that away, and less people are getting screwed on that angle, so I am fine with that.

If a dex rogue takes the SoS, that is his choice. IMO, it's a selfish choice, but his choice nonetheless. I'd rather see people taking their own loot, then having some obnoxious leader declare what's right for what builds.


It's not perfect, no, but I think it's better. Perhaps further tweaking will get it where it needs to be to suit ALL players. (Have you ever tried to make EVERYONE happy - not that easy)

Id like to thank Turbine for completely nerfing my chances at raid loot.

Should've joined the NSR group just now - Elite Reaver, 10 people, 7 items, and one of the members had his 20th completion.

Edit: it is pretty funny though that out of 7 items from the raid and an entire end reward list, there wasn't a single +3 tome though.

No don't change it I like it the way it is.

Currently our guild is UP, yes I said UP, to almost 25% Loot drops.

I don't think it's perfect, but I far prefer this loot system, personally.

So, this new raid loot system encourages more raiding....At least the raids that require little or no flagging....So, people are going to start grinding the Reaver and the Titan more and more. As is, Von and DQ raids are a real GRIND to complete and flag for....There is almost no point. I neither like or dislike the new loot system.

the dragon is about an hour to get flagged if done quickly, dq maybe a little more, people have been grinding those raids for ages, and the methods are easy

turbine must love ventilated bracers and the visors from titan cause if you are lucky enough to get raid loot in current system your usually gonna get something for the poorer end of the raid loot list. i have done 23 riads since update went live. 15 of those 12 manned on elite. only 2 raids had more than 2 items a reaver had 7 a titan had 5. i have had 2 items drop 2 times.i have had 1 item drop 1 time.the OTHER 18 raids had 0 raid items for whole party. 18 raids out of 23 dropping 0 is completely ****ed up.
