Ok, yes I can begin a thread that will get folks all thinking deeply about life, the universe and everything else. So now I challenge your favorite DDO snack! And Beer don't count (that's a beverage).

But for me Trail Mix, California Style. How can you go wrong? Peanuts, M & Ms, Almonds. It's like a pleasant party in the mouth!!!! DD And, yeah whatever it mad me laugh posting this so bleh!

Not trying to change the anti-philosophical nature of your thread, but are butterflys a snack or a meal?

Due to the fact that I live in Japan and there are a LOT of things I cannot get on a regular basis (they aren't sold at the Japanese grocers, they aren't sold or are out of stock at the military base commissary)...I have to have several options. So here are my three favorites.

Tillamook Country Smoker Beef Steak Nuggets
It's like beef jerky only better.

Corn chips and Mrs. Renfro's Black Bean Salsa.

    Tobasco Cheez-it.

    So I like spicy food....

Pita chips with hummus. The more garlic on/in both items the better.

Nope. Try again, butterflies are a drug. Hallucinogenic. Ask Loki, or either of Scar's kitties.
You may never realize how tasty chocolate animal crackers can be until you're being hand-fed them one after another after another after another by the tender, loving fingers of a three year old child.

the snacks here in Japanese convenience stores are way better than back home... Meiji brand chocolate covered macadamia nuts. Galbo. Pocky. Toppo... Mmmmmm

But I love Hagaen Daaz (sp?) ice cream sandwches... the caramel one. And I love vanilla icecream with maple syrup.

And homemade coke floats and, something I haven't had in a long while, my mom's homemade apple pie with apples from the tree in our yard.

    I am feeling homesick!

I remember the Japanese (available in the commissary 20 years ago ), shrimp-flavored and seaweed crackers as being pretty darned good.

Peanut butter-filled pretzels for me now.
