    Default VISTA w/o the view

OK, i have an old machine that has ran perfect since i started playing.(XP) I recently went out and bought a new machine (VISTA) so the wife could play, and am having some issues. I reinstalled and re patched the game 2 times, updated and reinstalled directX. The machine will run the client.exe perfect until mid game it will crash giving me an error message. I then click the 'find solutions' window to no avail. This machine came w/ norton360 and i have put ddo on the 'allow' list.
I have no idea how to proceed or how to find my diagnostic report, send me some light on known vista issues and/or what i need to provide to begin troubleshooting. AZUREBOND

    Default oh, by the way

The only other thing i can add in afterthought, when running the vista machine far exceeds the XP machine (P4HT) but when logging on i get three error messages, (Error): The chat server is temporarily unavailable. Please try again shortly. I'm stumped. AZUREBOND

I obviously don't know enough about your system to give any detailed insight but you might want to try disabling Norton startups in msconfig and see if that resolves the problem.

That software package sucks up so many resources and has so many unnecessary jobs running in the background it's ridiculous.

My gaming machine doesn't even use antivirus anymore. Anything that gets put on that machine goes through some checks via local machines and is installed through network drives.

I'm getting the same issue with the chat server, Azure. I also noticed that I can't use Party Voice Chat as well. It looks enabled to me, but is not to party members.
