    Default Guildhalls

Am I crazy here, or do guild seem a little under-whelming? Not that they aren’t useful, but don’t you wish you could do more? Here’s my thought:

After gaining X amount of total favor, or X amount from a house (the only thing total favor gets you now is a Drow) you get/purchase a guildhall.

Guildhalls would be like dungeons or the empty houses/areas in the game, but only members of your guild could enter them. They would have to be set location, lots of guild would have their hall in the same spot, but you would enter only your guilds area.

    1. They would have similar effects as taverns.
    2. They would have a chest that anyone in the guild could add or subtract equipment or coins from (nice way to share…)
    3. You could have a similar chest/bar to stock with consumables to aid the healing process.

I know all this stuff is already in the game in a different form, but it would be a cool addition.

If you wanted to get real fancy they could even be customizable to a point, with different stuff or looks.

Did not know that, how many points do you need. Not that it matters right now, I haven't even gotten a drow yet...

I am sure guild halls will be added in some sence of the word.

I would make them simular to what turbine did in another game...

Guild leader is only one that can own/buy a hall. To do so however, that leader must reach a certain criteria. A number of followers that produces a leaders rank and ability to have a home. The cost to buy to be a certain amount of cash an collectibles. Rent there after. Leader would have to maintain that number an pay the upkeep so to speak.

As for chests, 5 chests. These are for guild items or the leaders choice of use. Only the guild leader can open any of those chests, however he/she can give permits to officers.

That's how I would expect turbine to do this when it comes an it will in time.

Listen to this weeks DDO cast ( podcast ) as there is an interview with the producer of DDO Kate Paiz and look on the boards for the "state of the game" post on Monday or Tuesday

    Default Cool

Elthbert - Yup I'm new. Two characters so far, Eland the Grey 6th lvl Pure Wizard and Ashenshugar 2nd lvl fighter.

Still looking for a cool guild to belong to, don't really know anyone yet, mostly just guys doing quick runs for gold and XP.

It's nice to know that the development team is working on making the game more group friendly.
