Also looking for an inactive wow account

something that can be transferred to Uther - would prefer with BC upgrade already.

I am not worried about it being an uber toon - I would like a good money maker more than anything else - something high skilled and woth some good gold on the account would work

I have w/p rapier for trade and a bunch of greater undead banes and some ghost touch of greater undead banes and bloodstone and various things you can ask for

    Smile illegal?

I dont see how it can be illegal , they arent trading RL money or trying to buy with RL money...although i dont know why u would want a wow account unless u are 15 years old ,lol , JK , I have 2 accounts on Wow I use when I get bored with DDO , but I always come back real quick , too much grinding in that game ,and too many kids ,lol...

Just to clarify. There nothing that violates the EUA to trade "intellectual property" aka in game items or accounts as long as you are not receiving monetary compensation.

What does violate the EUA is selling game property (by accepting the DDO EUA you are agreeing that turbine owns your account and the items contained within) for profit. Thats why you pay a subscription fee rather than I'm I own my account and turbine just hosts it for me.

Basically what myself and Kap are trying to due is help someone out in DDO in terms of items in exchange for the ability to reactivate an account they no longer use. Obviously we are appreciative of the effort that may have gone into that account had thus are willing to give greater compensation.

Plus... what does Turbine care about WoW? Other than that they are another MMORG they compete against for market share? What people do with the items they get ingame doesn't matter much to Turbine as long as your not trying to make RL money profit off of it. For example someone takes over a friends account that leaves the game... and as a result inherits all the items that were on that account.... is Turbine upset??? HECK NO!!! now they still have a subscription that would have been cancel... cha ching! another 14.95 that will still be rolling in.

I'm no lawyer, but I think that's a pretty accurate layman's account of how things work.

PS: It is not illegal even for Gold sellers, etc to do what they do. You can not go to jail for it etc... for the most part all a company can do is ban you account thus revoking your ability to participate in their game. They might be able to bring suit against you but I have never hear of this happening... although this could be since most of the pay for items/gold sites are in foreign countries. -=shrug=-

Unfortunately, you are forgetting something. It is against the EULA of both WoW and DDO to share or give your account information/password to anyone else. In order to trade accounts you would have to hand over the username and password...

Correction: Apparently WoW allows you to transfer ownership of the game by giving all original media, manuals, etc. to someone else and deleting the client from your own machine. (Unless that is just for the client but not the account.) So it looks like I was wrong about acquiring someone else's WoW account.
