Entering the game usually drops it immediately to 36 Mbps and Orchard drops it to 11-18 Mbps. Not desireable but playable. Here is where it gets bad. My guild uses Skype. When I turn Skype on my connection speed drops to 2-5.5 Mbps and makes the game unplayable.
Is Skype that much of a resource hog? Is there a way to adjust settings to get this to stabilize?
The desktop is in the same room as the router and modem but on the opposite side of a large room.
Thanks
