Is Muck Gone??

Was running it the other day and a VERY YOUNG party member was saying the "guaranteed" way to spawn muck is not loot any chests until you hit the valves. Every time we looted a chest he/she (not sure) would comment - "Guess you don't want a muckbane".

was running something a while back with my wizard, and what i guess was a semi-newbie looked over at me and says, "OMG, you have TWO muckbanes?!?!?!" I replied with "Yeah, all my characters use two. they're so easy to hit, you don't even need TWF, just swing." After that he went on to tell me his whole life story in the form of how he tried so many times to get a muckbane, blah blah blah blah. Long story short, yeah, i ran it a few minutes go and picked up another one.

Indeed. I wonder about this - I've gotten 3 Mucks, and I've never once run for them. I just hit it when I go by.

I've done the quest maybe 20 times over the course of multiple rerolls, so I'm at about 15% success.

Sold my first one for about 180k plat, which pretty much set me up as a noob. I still have the other two, and I pass them from character to character.

I played with that person too, but on Ghallandra.

She also sang to her dogs while we fought. It was a bit odd.
