    Default Demand in the Auction

OK, with the new mailbox rules, I did not want to loose any equipment for mail sitting too long. Therefore, I posted up 2 characters loose/spare equipment up on the auction. This was probably about 40-50 items. What I have learned is that all the level 5-10 equipment sold very quickly, and I almost sold every piece. (about 15-20 items). Now I rarely mark up the bid, and I always put a reasonable buyout, but I was amazed that all the demand was in that level range. I guess everyone already has their 14's all twinked out. Makes me want to go run giant caves again for lvl 8 stuff.

I go shopping about 3x a week for stuff for my lvl 11 rogue (who STILL has nothing better than a +2 acid rapier of pure good against neutral/non-vermin), a lvl 9 battle cleric, a lvl 9 wizard, a lvl 8 sorcerer, a lvl 7 multiclass rogue, and a lvl 6 WF fighter.

The other 3 players in my static group are looking for the same kind of stuff fairly regularly.

We don't have time to farm for loot and we haven't done any gianthold quests yet, but we do have $$$. 80% of my equipment is from the auction house. 10% is from the brokers. 10% is loot I got myself.

P.S. Here is my guide on how to get rich in stormreach without loot farming in 4 easy steps: (1) find +6 charisma item someone sold to broker in tent, (2) buy it, (3) put it on the auction house with no buyout, and (4) detach large amounts of platinum from mail message.

lol, I saw that! But didn't buy it -- now if it had been a +3 acid rapier of pure good, I would have been all over it.
