its not "bumping it for no reason" i have a reason and its a simple question about wher the sell gems button is and wether or not they are going to implement auto gathering hell even a simple nope not going to happen would suffice i dont ask for much hell i rarley even post so the small things is all i ask a simple response would be nice otherwise i feel ignored a prime example though for those that say devs dont need to respond to every post thats fine they dont but imo they could always send a pm or what not also

its like putting in multiple tickets on the same reason, bumping a topic by simply "wanting an answer" would put the thread lower on their priorities. basically, if you bump it, it bugs them, so they are less than willing to answer.

As others have said, both opening with a "dev's please respond" tag and bumping will almost certainly reduce the chances of a topical response (though it may eventually get another sort of forum moderator response). I wouldn't say that it's a policy, but typically these threads don't get answered. Consider it: if two people are coming to you for info, one being very demanding and insistant and poking you every 2 minutes, while the other is being polite and patient, which one are you likely to want to help?

This is not to say that not taking that tone is guaranteed to get response. However, the bottom line is, if they answered these threads demanding a response, then soon more people with such a question or complaint would start being demanding, and the forums would be flooded with "DEV'S PLEASE RESPOND !!!!" titles and constant /bumps.

There have been other threads mentioning this (and how people aren't thrilled with the new bag system), and I would be very surprised if the relevant dev's were not aware of this. I expect that the "sell gems" button exists in some form on their side, but may have been left out due to problems/bugs. I would suggest that you be patient and see what comes out in next Monday's WDA report, and add comments to that thread if it's not there (or add a comment of support if it is).

I doubt they ignore them. They just say that so the forums are not cluttered with threads with titles demanding answers. They rarely reply to them, but I am sure they always read them. Especially when a topic is several pages in length, harder for them to ignore then because they know something is going on in there!

Added a "Sell Gems" button to the sell window of vendors which buy gems. Hitting this button will sell all unsecured gems in your inventory as well as all gems contained in all of your gem bags.
