Great thread. I'm tired of creating new chars now, but I was thinking of a L1 ranger /L13 barb to shoot arrows. But right now range combat isn't great, and don't have many good bows to support a ST based arrow shooter.

Jaysenen,
I love what you have done here. It was very useful when I was building my ranger. Speaking of my Ranger, I have a pure Ranger build that I'd you to consider for inclusion. She fairly new - only have her to 3rd level, but so far she's really fun to play.
I took the dragonmark for healing, its come in very useful.Code:Character Plan by DDO Character Planner Version 2.75 DDO Character Planner Home Page Tinkerbelle Level 14 True Neutral Halfling Female (14 Ranger) Hit Points: 160 Spell Points: 251 BAB: 14\14\19\24 Fortitude: 13 Reflex: 13 Will: 9 Starting Feat/Enhancement Abilities Base Stats Modified Stats (32 Point) (Level 1) (Level 14) Strength 16 19 Dexterity 12 12 Constitution 14 14 Intelligence 10 10 Wisdom 14 14 Charisma 8 8 Starting Feat/Enhancement Base Skills Modified Skills Skills (Level 1) (Level 14) Balance 3 9.5 Bluff -1 -1 Concentration 2 16 Diplomacy -1 -1 Disable Device n/a n/a Haggle -1 -1 Heal 4 15 Hide 3 11 Intimidate -1 -1 Jump 7 17 Listen 2 7 Move Silently 5 12 Open Lock n/a n/a Perform n/a n/a Repair 0 0 Search 2 6 Spot 2 6 Swim 3 4 Tumble 2 2 Use Magic Device 1 7.5 Level 1 (Ranger) Feat: (Favored Enemy) Favored Enemy: Reptillian Feat: (Selected) Least Dragonmark of Healing Feat: (Automatic) Attack Feat: (Automatic) Bow Strength Feat: (Automatic) Defensive Fighting Feat: (Automatic) Halfling Agility Feat: (Automatic) Halfling Bravery Feat: (Automatic) Halfling Keen Ears Feat: (Automatic) Halfling Luck Feat: (Automatic) Halfling Size Bonus Feat: (Automatic) Heroic Durability Feat: (Automatic) Light Armor Proficiency Feat: (Automatic) Martial Weapon Proficiency (ALL) Feat: (Automatic) Shield Proficiency (General) Feat: (Automatic) Simple Weapon Proficiency (ALL) Feat: (Automatic) Sneak Feat: (Automatic) Sunder Feat: (Automatic) Trip Feat: (Automatic) Wild Empathy Enhancement: Halfling Luck I (Will) Enhancement: Ranger Favored Damage I Enhancement: Ranger Favored Defense I Enhancement: Ranger Devotion I Level 2 (Ranger) Feat: (Automatic) Rapid Shot Feat: (Automatic) Two Weapon Fighting Enhancement: Ranger Swamp Lore I Enhancement: Ranger Tundra Lore I Enhancement: Ranger Desert Lore I Enhancement: Extra Dragonmark I Level 3 (Ranger) Feat: (Selected) Weapon Focus: Piercing Weapons Enhancement: Jorasco Healing I Enhancement: Halfling Hero's Companion I Enhancement: Ranger Favored Resistance I Enhancement: Ranger Heal I Level 4 (Ranger) Spell (1): Camouflage Spell (1): Jump Spell (1): Longstrider Spell (1): Resist Energy Spell (1): Summon Nature's Ally I Spell (1): Tumble Enhancement: Halfling Fear Resistance I Enhancement: Halfling Luck I (Fortitude) Enhancement: Halfling Luck I (Reflex) Enhancement: Ranger Energy of the Wild I Level 5 (Ranger) Feat: (Favored Enemy) Favored Enemy: Elemental Enhancement: Ranger Energy Resistence Boost I Enhancement: Ranger Item Defense I Enhancement: Ranger Devotion II Level 6 (Ranger) Feat: (Selected) Extend Spell Feat: (Automatic) Improved Two Weapon Fighting Feat: (Automatic) Manyshot Enhancement: Extra Dragonmark II Enhancement: Halfling Hero's Companion II Level 7 (Ranger) Feat: (Automatic) Improved Wild Empathy Enhancement: Ranger Swamp Lore II Enhancement: Ranger Desert Lore II Level 8 (Ranger) Spell (2): Barkskin Spell (2): Bear's Endurance Spell (2): Camouflage, Mass Spell (2): Cat's Grace Spell (2): Cure Light Wounds Spell (2): Hold Animal Spell (2): Owl's Wisdom Spell (2): Protection From Energy Spell (2): Snare Spell (2): Spike Growth Spell (2): Summon Nature's Ally II Enhancement: Ranger Tundra Lore II Enhancement: Halfling Luck II (Will) Level 9 (Ranger) Feat: (Selected) Lesser Dragonmark of Healing Feat: (Automatic) Evasion (Ranger) Enhancement: Halfling Fear Resistance II Enhancement: Halfling Luck II (Reflex) Level 10 (Ranger) Feat: (Favored Enemy) Favored Enemy: Construct Enhancement: Ranger Favored Attack I Enhancement: Ranger Energy of the Wild II Level 11 (Ranger) Feat: (Automatic) Greater Two Weapon Fighting Feat: (Automatic) Improved Precise Shot Feat: (Automatic) Precise Shot Spell (3): Cure Moderate Wounds Spell (3): Neutralize Poison Spell (3): Remove Disease Spell (3): Summon Nature's Ally III Spell (3): Wild Instincts Enhancement: Extra Dragonmark III Level 12 (Ranger) Feat: (Selected) Greater Dragonmark of Healing Enhancement: Ranger Favored Damage II Enhancement: Ranger Energy of the Wild III Level 13 (Ranger) Enhancement: Ranger Favored Defense II Enhancement: Ranger Item Defense II Level 14 (Ranger) Spell (4): Cure Serious Wounds Spell (4): Freedom of Movement Spell (4): Longstrider, Mass Spell (4): Summon Nature's Ally IV Enhancement: Extra Dragonmark IV

I have a Ranger 7 / Rogue 2 right now and I am trying to have him balanced on Bow and TWF. As of right now, he has a great pair of weapons, IMHO....
+3 Scimitar and +3 Seeking Kukuri both of Pure Good - with Improved Critical Slashing, his threat range (on both weapons) is 15-20, making for frequent crits.
I noticed you mentioned Kopesh builds, but I think there is plenty to be said for a Scimitar build. I may take some fighter levels after getting to Ranger 8 / Rogue 3 so I can get a few more good feats - like Weapon focus with the Kukuri... Improved Crit for Ranged....
My build on this character is probably not great, since it was my first build and I had no idea what I was doing early on. Two things I would have done different is to have taken Rogue as my first level - for the skill points - and taken Undead as my first favored enemy - simply because there are SO many undead in the game.
It is not about the destination, it is about the journey.
All my Characters Loathe the stupid term " Toon "
Moved to HERE cause I don't wanna be responsible for a potential threadjack.

Things worthy of Standing Stone going EXTREME PREJUDICE™ on.:
- Epic and Legendary Mysterious ring upgrades, please.
- Change the stack size of filigree in the shared bank to 50. The 5 stack makes the shared bank worthless for storing filigree in a human usable manner.
- Fixing why I don't connect to the chat server for 5 minutes when I log into a game world.
- Fixing the wonky Lightning Sphere and Tactical Det firing by converting them to use alchemist spell arcing.
- Redoing the drop rates of tomes in generic and raid loot tables.
