New Splash Screen

It's got a big blue guy but no text. What's going on?

Same thing that was being talked about on Risa. Sure, it is a cinderspawn about to do some stomping but beyond that...weee.

I have a feeling it was just a placement splash screen until they get an actual one. Something they forgot to update is my guess.

Yes, but why is the Giant with the Cold-Shield on squishing folks in Kunderak? i wanna know! Are they making Kunderak an adventure zone? hehe, that'd be a hoot!

Or maybe they are taking the suggestion of an quest that uses some of the existing city-scape, which could be very cool! I forget who made that suggestion, but it has possibilities.

I saw that picture and thought "Cool, they're 'teasing' us about the next update. So I looked at the picture for clues - it looks like the CS is standing on the main plaza platform in House K. New quests in House K in the next update?

If they dribbled out info about Mod 5.1 over a few weeks, that would be fine with me.

The new screen means we can complain and whine that there is no text on there. However, we can't complain about anything else. No release date, no changes that might not make it or are controversial.

The new Splash screen is just a filler until they address the Game Status of what is to happen for Mod6. Hence there is no Text (ie, just a filler screen as they can't display the Mod5 splash screen and nobody has said what will be bought out in mod6)

Considering we have already seen the Big Blue Guy in Mod5 quests, then it'd unlikely be anything to do with Mod6 (Unless they are going to recycle the Big Blue Guy into mod6 or into a future mod5.1 release... which in any case, the current splash screen is still just a filler till they figure out what to do next)

Actually, after the update, I loaded my character and was at the bank in GH. Data was still loading, so my weappon slots etc had not all filled yet, but, I decided to open my bank up and when the box first came up, I had tabs for 5 bank slots rather than three. They went away after the character loading quit, but, it gives me hope to think that more bank slots are definitely on the way.

Usually the first splash screens after an update still plug that update. I wasn't expecting a Mod 6 screen, but there ought to be "Highlights of Mod 5" on the big-blue-guy screen.
