I don't remember what the final bid was, but it was way more than I would have paid for +5MFP.
Having a batbuild I think the +5MBP is almost equivalent value to +5MFP all by itself.
Personally not real keen on PM bids in general... Saal is in my guild so no particular reason to mistrust for me, but I'd be hesitant to bid against PMs. I just kept looking at the bids like "someone really bid _that_?".
