Is it really a huge issue? Do people get stuck that often? I have two "super" jump characters (i.e. 50+) and I almost never see it happen.

    Can anyone comment on this?

    You are pretty lucky.

I have also been playing the game since release. I have 9 toons. I have been stuck in the environment about 40 (conservative) times.

I am cool with the /death change, as long as they give me a way to get unstuck.

    Default Poor Farmers

Oh the injustice! Oh the Inhumanity! Oh the lack of Fairness that plat farmers and exploiters cant exploit anymore? what? ummm as that guy way back there said, they can still /death by taking off a greater false life belt , or con item while at 1 hp, or wait till a Con buff drops and then die. hmmmmm. I only can think that the exploiters wont be affected at all.

On another note though, at least if they farm, they dont get drops every time, or they have to raid 20 times to get it, lol. No more ninja looters taking the dragon loots etc and then bailing out.

I must say, THREE CHEERS! sounds like VERY Good work on the programmers part to me.... <now, i better pull that vorpal for being so nice> joke

I have never been stuck, either, and agreed with you...until last night. Played on Risia and the group I was in had four people get stuck. Called for GM assistance (the second time around) and the problem was solved. Pretty quickly, too.

Funny, though, for some reason we didn't think Risia had GM help (don't know why we thought this), so we were trying to aggro monsters from other hallways into the hole that one guy was stuck in, so they could kill him and we could grab his stone and take him to a nearby shrine. Of course, the stuck person was a 400+ hit point barbarian! Still, it worked eventually, except that in the heat of battle one person got stuck in the same hole after him.....

    what a night.

I'm in the same boat as you (except for the capped toons). The only time I've been stuck, seen someone being stuck, or heard of someone being stuck was due to player error. Falling off a cliff and getting stuck behind a column that you can't jump out of for example. I've never seen this magic appearing shrine, but as was pointed out in at least 2 other threads on the topic. 1. Don't stand there. 2. Warn others not to stand there. It can't be that hard to shift the aggro to another location that is about 20 game feet away.
