heres a closer look at the ferns / bracken. Its probably autumn when the photo's of derwent water were taken as these are usually green.

the only regret i have about it is that its on my doorstep, only 30 miles or so away, yet it is only now that im beginning to appreciate it to its full extent. (im mid 30's)
