Slight nitpick, it was actually Harriet Jones who asked about the northern accent, and then Rose said "Lots of planets have a north."

One of my favorites was in the episode "Dalek" (9th Doctor) where he is telling the scientist in Utah that he knows nothing about alien technology.

Scientist: "And you claim greater knowledge?"

Doctor: "I don't need to make claims, I know how good I am."

Oh I remembered the butler quote too...it was funny, but not AS funny as the other. Actually, if I watched that episode again, I could probably find a bunch more. It was really well written!

In correct, THe first Episode "Rose" rose asked him that. When Harriet Jones assked again, it was a flashback to that conversation with Rose. THey were on the bridge.

That ep was written by the Late Great Douglas Adams!! He was the script editor at the time and they had to rewrite the script. THus the pseudonym
