Would not mind a very rare chance for those glancing blows to do special attack types...ie 1% normal upto like 5%...might make the feats more desirable while not being overally unbalancing.

That is a resonable request, maybe tie to to an enhancement line.

Or... we could just be happy they let us do glancing blows at all since it isn't D&D canon and they only allowed them to give people a reason to use 2Hers in the first place.

I say no, you already are getting something you shouldn't, be satisfied.

It's been a while since I had my THF spec'd Barb but THF is quite powerful as it is.

1.) It would lessen the PA, cleave greater cleave and Dodge, mobility, SA, whirlwind feat chains...

2.) It is not like a 2hf barb is not high enough DPS already... as is the 1st few mob are down in like 4 hits, then the adjoining ones 3... etc...

I can see allowing a small chance for some elemental damage on the glance, no special effects though.

In order to compensate for what the OP asks ... you'd have to compensate the twf and straight sword and board in some way or else everyone will be running arround feated THF plus a lot of other fighter feats become useless.

Quote I can see all the THF rogues being born. 70% chance to have every glancing blow do 7d6.

    How about No.

LOL i have on right now and he is great. i tear up the mobs and have great AC, but let me tell you Maelstrom+Power Attack+ Sneak Attack+being a Str based build,,,,the dps is great.....the only bad thing is having to continualy switch back and forth from heavy to light armor, but hes a great tank,,,try one out there great fun

Are you 2-handers out there feeling unloved or something? I agree in that it partially (if not totally) marginalizes the Cleave-Greatcleave & Whirlwind Attack lines. Otherwise what would be the point of those feat lines?

Then again, sure if we add it to sneak attack also, what's fair is fair after all because we dedicated all those levels into a (in many peoples eyes) gimped class
