    Default how about adding weaponsmiths?

Ok I had an idea kinda from what I use to see in never winter nights. So how about this… you put a weapon smith in the game. for a small to large fee or even have to hunt down a rare item you can enhance a weapon. So if you have a +1 longsword you can pay to have it turned into a +2 all the way up to +5. also some weapons could be enhanced like the repeating crossbow right now it only fires 3 bolts per unlike its D&D counterpart that fires 5. you can have the weapon smith be able to sell you a magazine that will be a 5 shot instead of a 3 shot again for a large price. Also if you want to add something like holy to a weapon you can put priests in the game that can do that for you… but for them to do that you will have to do something for them… like a quest or find something. This would add a huge level to the game it would also let people make weapons better without having to hunt them down… hmmmm… not having to run pop anymore… doest that sound nice…

yea if you do player crafting you are going to run into the problems that Ultima Online had with crafting... where you have one guy that will do it for this much then another guy that will do it for that much. then you give the guy your weapon to have him work it and he logs out... with your weapon. it was a kinda big problem in the early days of UO. but with NPC workmen you dont have that issue it would be much like getting your item repaired just with more options.
