The United States of America, to my knowledge, is the only country with the word "America" in it's name.

Like I have mentioned before, my dad served 2 tours in Vietnam and my brother is currently serving as a medic with the Army in Baghdad. Sorry about that. I have encountered enough people who think those from the US don't have the right to call themselves "Americans," that my response was along the lines of responding to that kind of thinking. I have cousins from Canada who have ranted about this.

Good Point indeed. I myself never get uncomfortable around people that are multi-lingual. Indeed in the area that I reside the language barrier covers Hmoung, Spanish, Russian, Jewish and of course English.
I just find it funny that when prompted in a phone call that you are asked to choose to listen to the official language of the United States of America.
