Default Who cares about what we want?

How many Dev Discussion threads do you see us asking for Necropol-ass part 3?

How many threads where people ask the devs to throw us an insane loot power creep? A belt with heavy fort and greater false life, a helm with heavy fort and toughness feat, a dagger with 400 sp and more, a +5 seeker 8, maiming, extended crit range X4 crit one hander...ok Turbine defecate us out a mod in an area nobody liked and just pack it full of loot so much better than whats available now we will actually want to play it. Nice strategy.

Maybe next mod instead of the races, classes, prestige classes, crafting, guild housing, and content your dedicated players continually ask for you can give us TRIPLE bladed, TRIPLE greater-baned, TRIPLE alignmented swords and save yourself some time and work.

BTW do you have a date on those monks or half-orcs yet?

Careful, we don't want the sort of blade escalation we saw in the Gilette/Schick razor wars of the early 00's

Seriously though, I might try some of the new quests, as long as I don't have to have completed the first 2 series (since I don't currently have any characters who've completed them). I don't know what all the new items are, but they'd have to be crazy good to get me to go through Monotony of the Dead 1 and 2 again.

Well I am not a particular fan of Undead as mobs to fight, but I would rather they finish off the Necropolis story line than have the **** thing sitting there in the middle of the game bugging the hell out of me because it is not finished. Personally I don't care for Monks or Half Orcs so if they never show up I will not be disappointed.

Of course I would not want you to hurt yourself and try to be nice because it probably is beyond your ability. Nope you would rather call the devs names even if in a roundabout way and act like a spoiled child because you can't get what you want the minute you want it. There is a specific reason that we are not getting much in the way of communication from Turbine at the moment and you can bet whatever you choose to bet that there is a very good specific reason why they can't discuss it with us because it is not about the content of the game so it does not concern us.

As soon as it is settled in another couple of weeks they will probably give you more information than you care to have.

Double that for me. . . Except for the fan of Undead part. I love fighting undead. :3 I dunno why, but they're just one of my favorite enemies to encounter.

Heh, nothing like the straightforward way you are calling me names huh? I'm not calling them names, just bummed out about the state of a game I love to play.

BTW if you are so privileged to know some good info that we don't PM us please I'm sure I'm not the only one interested, and I got no hard feelings about you calling me a spoiled child. In fact heres a cool-guy face for you

Personally, I have always enjoyed the Necropolis series of quests and am looking forward to this final chapter for it.

Sorry about the spoiled child comment Twerrp. It was uncalled for on my part and I let my temper over what I saw as just another thread bashing the future of the game get the better of me. What can I say I slip once in a while

Oh, I don't think you should apologize. After all, that was very much a spoiled child whining to mommy and daddy that the newest toy isn't exactly what they want.

Man, I can hardly believe you're paying $15 a month for it. That's, what, half your allowance?

Give these folks a break, people. Development is hard work, and not the highest paying gig in existence. Decisions on what to put in and what priority to put them into the game are often made far in advance, and ****ing and moaning like a child doesn't do the least bit of good. So far, every single Module released has brought something to the game that I've liked. Sure, some things I don't like, but that's life all over.

Ease up, be thankful for the good things, give reasoned, constructive criticism on what you think was done poorly, and be happy you're not stuck playing WoW like the other zombies. When was the last time you leaped off a cliff across a room and landed clinging to a ladder in WoW? I love this game again every time I do something like that.

And I apologize not one whit for my comments. Every insult was intended.

    Whining?

The Devs insist on investing effort into a facet of the game very few people really want that much to do with.

I haven't played on Risia, and hopefully they did a better job than the previous parts, but I'm not holding my breath.

Maybe it is the optimotist in me but I doubt they just decided to do necropolis as a 3 part series to spite people. More likely they had and still have the game mapped out for quite a bit to come and to change that because some people dont like it is a bit silly in my opinion. Sure there are some updates people dont like but lets just let Turbine build and advance the game as they have had planned from the start.

(dont flame me to bad it is just my opinion)

I personally dislike the series considerably so far, perhaps they got the next chapter right. However I understand where the skepticism comes from. In this thread, there are more people who like the series then I have ever met playing the game.

Regardless of weather you enjoyed the other chapters of LotD series personally, I don't think anyone can say they were well received by the majority of the player-base, or that they are run for enjoyment by the vast majority, with a straight face.

However, in keeping up on the Risia forum for the last few weeks, it seems the newest chapter is looked upon favorably by the majority of people testing it. Hopefully, Turbine has learned from the feedback on the other two chapters, and has created an enjoyable Mod for the majority ( cause you're never going to plz 100% ) of players.

I will say though, that Twerrp is entitled to the views and concerns he expressed in the OP. I personally would have rather seen Mod 5 introduce the elements he discussed, rather than the final chapter of LotD. IMHO, they are much more important. It's the information that they are working on those very elements that are keeping the people I know on the verge of quitting logging in, not the idea of 11 new quests and a raid.

I personally have always disliked the idea of having quest lines where you had to repeat a-y in order to get to z...at least beyond the first time you run it elite.

Once you have completed it on elite once (on that character) - it's nothing but a time sink.

I could see certain exceptions being made though for quest lines like WW and TR where you can possibly get end reward items better than normal for that level. But only if they allowed us to choose static or random quest rewards. As the end reward loot is right now I don't even see those as needing to be required ALL chapters after first (elite) completion.

Now now... we aren't allowed to make fun of you so the same rules apply to you making fun of the developers. May I please see the MMO you have designed and implemented that is obviously so much better than DDO that you can have such a superior attitude about their work?

Not allowed to make fun of me?

People STILL create threads for the purpose of mocking me.

I never said they wouldn't, I said they are not allowed to. I am fairly certain some of the threads espousing your ideas lead to some infraction points.
