Launcher Hard Crash

I keep getting a hard crash of the launcher. I cannot update past the client_local_English file. I get an error report message and the launcher closes. I have tried deleting the bad file but then the game will not update as the file is missing. I cannot open the file in notepad due to its size so no editing it for me.

I have tried everything I can think of but a complete reinstall.

Any help appreciated.

Well, if the launcher was having issues with the file, it may of been corrupted.

Now since you dleted it you will need to run the repair option from the installation of the game to get that file back.

I would recommend making a copy of the current large .DAT files in the install directory to somewhere else and then doing the repair. If all goes well you should be bale to copy back all those updated dat file and plus have the new missing file you deleted to update. So updating would go by much quicker.

no idea how to do the repair option. SO I am just re-installing. Here is to a updateing for the next WEEK!. And I have broadband.....
