Is it just me or does it seem odd that Ataraxia's Haven, which was once both a mining area and resort, doesn't have a tavern or inn? Yet there are friendly natives?

Agreed. A tavern with a bind point and basic supplies much like tangelroot/GH/Necro/etc would be really nice.

Hmmm, given the events leading up to your arrival, perhaps a nice inn that serves nothing but gruel, stale bread, and water (at highly inflated prices) would be appropriate.
Ultimately, of course, until there are more than 2 fairly minor quests in this area, there won't likely be any sort if inn added.
