    Wel hockey is a fine sport but it is still the 7th or 8th sport popularity-wise. NFL, MLB, NBA, NASCAR, GOLF, TENNIS, heck even poker gets better ratings. But NHL is more popular then the WNBA i think.

    The fact that you mentioned NASCAR negates the popular vote when it comes to sports. Auto racing is fine, but NASCAR just plain sucks.

    Car racing on TV in general plain sucks. "ohh look he went around in an oval 400 times" Now going to the races is a different story.
