Default Devs? When can we expect...

When can we expect a level cap increase. I am not asking for a firm date, just a general idea, are we talking October ( which would be on the 6 month for an increase schedule) or November ( which would be a bit behind but not too ad) or are we talking about even longer than that, or even the begining of next year?
In my opinion a level increase is the most important thing there is at this point, more important even than additional content, excepting the new Module of course. There is vastly more experiance out there than is needed to go up a past 14th level, can you through me a bone and give me and the rest of us an idea of when we might see the increase?

Well when are we to expect Module 6 then? I keep hearing next year, that is frankly too long between level increases. I would much rather have the level increase without another module (Ii mean before it, not instead of it) than wait for the level increase until the next huge module is in. But if that is what is to be then can someone at least let us know?

They said this fall, I'd say probably november.

EDIT: Actually, a level cap increase before the module would be silly. You get up to level 16... but no level 16 quest to run. Simply stupid, if you ask me. Totally nullifies the use of a level cap increase.

honestly, how difficult is it to bump a series of quests up by two levels? seems like it wouldn't be too involved of a db script.

    Default Level Cap increase

Here is an idea, lets get Mod 5 in place before worrying about Mod 6.

    Thanks for stopping.

As for Mod 6, If you look at past releases, there was a Mod, then 2 updates, one each month. If you take the delays of late into consideration, and that it has take 6 MONTHS for the new mod to come if it ever does, it looks more like March. My guess is that there will be only one update after Mod 5, and then around Christmas/ New Year they drop the new Mod 6 on us. At least that's my hope. I'm starting to get that itch that comes from not running anything new for a very long time. I'd also like to state that it would be nice if the updates got back on schedule a bit more too. I know we have had some other major changes, but I'm also pretty certain that we all are getting tired of running the same old quests for the 500th time.

I could care less about module 6 except that it supposedly will come with our level cap increase. Content is not nearly so lacking in this game as people complain about, but the lack of the ability to continue to increase in level is a big deal.

Well we will have new stuff soon, I for one would be happy with more numerous small updates, more like we had last year. A month with 4 or 5 new adventures is fine, if we got one every month. I would be totally happy with a level cap increase and just 3 or 4 level 15 and 16 quest. Add a couple every month and voila in 3 months you have added 10 to 12 quest. I understand, and really like the idea of an outdoor adventure area for each couple of levels. but you know I could wait a month or 2 for my 15 and 16 outdoor area if we could simply advance. then when I got it it would be a break from those quest that came in with the cap increase.

What's the point of being L16 if all you have to fight is L14?

I'd love to know too... but it's not gonna be fall. That was what they were calling for in the spring and everything has pushed back several months since then.

My guess is that it'll be our X-mas present. Thank the gods for pagan holidays!

New and cool stuff, and isn't there a level 15 quest in module 5? Not to mention the fact that they could turn out 1 or 2 level 16 ones pretty fast, like I said, 3 or 4 a month is fine, thats is as many as we are getting now anyway, they just are comming all at once in lumps now.

Well November and December are fall, though for some reason everyone thinks of December as winter, anyway, I just want an Idea, still 6 months I think is reasonable, 8 or 9 not so much, 11 completly unacceptable. But may be thats just me. Perhaps I am too unreasonable?

PS. Do You think I would carry more wieght if my Name was Sheridan?

I think it's almost imperative for them to get mod 6 out before the end of the year. If it comes I don't expect it til after Thanksgiving. Really depends on how much they have done at this stage, I'm sure they already have some of the newer stuff on Mournlands as is.

They've already dropped Monk from Mod 6.. as it is, they were being pretty ambitious about what they were gonna give us. I think we'll have to look at what comes in 5.1 and 5.2.

I agree with you, they have to have it out before the end of the year. I really love monks and I would love to have a half-orc and even the half- elf but I still think the level cap has to be the priority.
