IMHO We need more monster spawns in the lobster. Live events are awesome, but i have only heard of 2.

If Turbine cant spare a man to be a GM Spawner for the Lobster, heck I'll do it for free.

Just to flesh out the idea even more, we have 2 alternatives. First is Promoter Grogan from Tharashk Arena & Crucible. We've ventured to visit him in remote locales, now he comes to Stormreach and brings selections of champions with him to test the adventurers of Stormreach. Second is a nameless summoner, perhaps just The Summoner, a high level mage who is running low on funding for his research. Pay him coin and he will summon all manner of beasties for you to test your mettle. "Red Dragon Kobold, I choose you!" /throws pokeball.

Not bad, not bad.... have it so it brings up a menu, varying cost by CR.

I think an even better idea would be where you buy a monster spawn for your buddies. They go in the pit and you get to pick what they will fight. Kind of like an evil candy-gram.

Might be a great way to actually add an Arena, like Threnals, to the PvP area's. Talk to the guy, select Arena, on off you, or party, to play in an Arena complete with MOB NPC vending machine.

+Sir is in rehab. He got addicted to Mudskippers weed. The real reason the servers merged is +Sir broke in and stole the other servers for MS weed. Turbine held an intervention, but he made save vs sobriety and bolted for the door. The cops caught him down at the corner pimping out the Maralith and her daughter for 15pp a hand. He went before the judge and entered court ordered rehab rather than got to LoTR. Hopefully we will see him back here soon.

heh. as far as the vending machine idea goes, all i can imagine is a bunch of poor level 4-5 characters fighting amongst themselves, when some mean spirited toon spawns some rakshasa lords down there....

I think there should just be a lever, like any other found in a quest, in the middle of the lower level of the Lobster's fighting pit. Anyone can pull it at any time - and it spawns a random monster (a random encounter - as it were). It could be some poor kobold that pops into the middle of eleven level 14 casters having a duel... or it could be one of the new undead beholders. Or perhaps a fully buffed up, Stoneskinned Rust Monster.

Ya know... good times.

P.S. For those who don't know. We do have some PvP variants, in a much cooler brawling room, the Golden Phoenix in the market, it has team vs. team and deathmatch. For groups to play. Just FYI.

Oh can we take it one step further? how about adding a nice big fat dragon in the machine so we can dragon fight any time without doing endless quests for a 10min fight.

Must make sure Coyle is one of the options and anyone inserting a coin gets a Wand of Fireball (1000th) that can be used by any class and level. Then anyone can nuke that idiot and watch him vaporize over and over and over.
