    Question Petition: Temp Forum Ban

I purpose that any poster who creates a large number of threads that become locked recieve either infraction points or temperary forum ban. Just to help clear some of the wasteful threads we've been seeing as of lately.

And to just make sure noone thinks otherwise. This would only be for posters that create multiple threads within a short span of time whether it be 10 days or 30.

Is this post a nomination for yourself then?

somehow, i feel this idea ignores the fact that trolls do, infact, exist...

edit: and they LOVE to derail threads and otherwise cause trouble.

If the content of the posts is against the forums guidelines, we'll take appropriate action. However, everyone has the right to bring ideas to the table... even if you don't agree with them. It's often not the original poster who's the problem, but the people who jump on a bandwagon and derail the thread.
