just a fyi if there's any europeans who, for some weird reason, is playing on the US Argo server:

Speaking of events... And yes, we ARE a global community although we can sure use more of you brave Europeans that don't mind gaming with us folks on the BEST set of timezones in the world...lol

The Dragon raid was fun but the twist on elite was well yeah..

Just popping in to say, wow! I had attended the pvp lowbie event, and while I do not normally do pvp(cause I really bite at it) I actually felt like I was holding my own, and had an enjoyable time.
To all who pop in and read the thread: I have been a member of the OSD for just a little while, (maybe just over a month) but these guys really have gone the extra mile to make a stranger to their ranks and DDO as a whole part of a group, community, and yes, even a family. This is, sadly, a RARE thing in MMO's. While I do not take a more active part in forums, I do believe in supporting something that can make the gaming experience more FUN!!!! That is the core of the word "game". It is meant to be played(again core:fun) and these guys have made it just that for me. It is not just a lvl grind anymore, it is an experience that is shared by the group.

I can only hope that someone reads this and decides to at least check us out. I was approached by a guildie ingame, and he took the time to explain some things to me that I did not understand. That made my mind up for me. So, if you see someone with the tag Order of the Silver Dragons above their head, take the time to say hello, and ask some questions that you may have. 'Specially if it is one of the characters you see in my sig. I would love the chance to share what knowledge I have with someone new to the game. Pay it forward, and all.

Well, I am off to play. Have fun above all else!

ya know, its towards the end of the month now... and i just realized how packed this month has been for events
all kinds of stuff ranging from our weekly pvp event, to low lvl waterworks runs, to raids, and to orchard runs....
its been a crazy month, and a heck of a fun one too!

Great raiding last night guys. We hit the Dragon, and followed it up with the Reaver on elite, and finished with no deaths the entire night (except that one time one of our wizards took a lava bath, but we got him back up and running pretty quickly). Now, when we decide we want a bad guy dead, he better danged well believe he's gonna be dead before we're through with him!!!

just a little update on the european thing:

Apex joined us recently, he is from the US but lives/works in Germany so we now have 2 active players(and one on hiatus) in the timezones around GMT. YaY!

and yes, even with the timezone difference it is possible to get a good event going, just post it a week or more in advance so ppl know of it

Hey, about that tetris... It seems someone came in and used cheat codes or something to set the high score at an impossible number. And thats my story and i'm stickin' to it!!! Not namin' any names.... SHRINERS!!! all in jest. them shriners own at tetris.
