AC and HP > Spring Attack. Unless, of course, you are a skilled twitch gamer.

I love jumping over mobs, running around them, chasing them down. Constantly moving. Someone told me that the mobs incure a penalty as well if you are using spring attack. Don't know if that is true. However, if you want to play that imitank dwarf, or raging barbarian then you probaby want high HP. I have a twf Elf with 257 hp and spring attack and love playing him. All depends on the build you want. What is better? thats for you to decide based on the type of build you want

For pvp spring attack is great you don't lose anything for running around whoevers running after you takes -2 hit. for pve I don't think its worth taking, maybe if you didn't have to take dodge 1 ac for a feat really isn't worth it.

The three aren't mutually exclusive. I see no reason why you can't fit them all into a build, really.

Regarding high AC and Spring Attack - if you're looking to copy feat for feat Riot's or Borror0's intimi-tank builds posted here to achieve high AC and fit in Spring Attack, it's not going to work, you'll just run out of feats by lvl 14. But, you can model a fighter after their builds for all the AC stuff - that's just gear and enhancements mostly - and leave out stuff like Iron Will, Shield Mastery, etc. to fit in Mobility/Spring Attack. You won't be able to tank from their POV (lack of blocking DR, lower saves, less intimidate), but you'll still get the 55ish AC with CE and Fighter/Dwarven Armor Mastery, some high end gear, and so on.

Regarding HP - taking one Toughness feat and the 4 enhancements will net you 66 total hitpoints. If you're not interested in taking the intimidate enhancements/feats you'll have room in a lvl 14 fighter to take Toughness and it's enhancements.

This is what my fighter 13/pally 1 build is. 467 hp, 49 ac no buffs or raid loot, and spring attack, i like it alot. Just have to get the base stats and enhancements worked out.
