Why no +5 Cloaks of Resistance?

I wanted to ask the devs why there are no +5 Cloaks of Resistance dropping? The ONLY +5 Resistance Item I've seen is the Beholder's Eyestalk that goes in the trinket slot. There are PLENTY of +5 Cloaks of Protection dropping (+5 Deflection Bonus to AC) but again NO +5 Cloaks of Resistance, why is this? They are not pricey (25K gp) so why no love?

A +5 resistance cloak would be min lvl 15 if spawned randomly.

So you have to get a RR one. That's why they're more rare than +5 Protection cloaks.

why would it have to be lvl 15? a +3 is lvl 9, and a +4 is lvl 11 with no RR, correct?

actually, so do i but i always assumed those were incorrectly generated, and that the standard min lvl is supposed to be 11

Funny thing is there are both min lev 11 and 13 + resistance cloaks, I have a suspicion +5s were intentionally left out.

I had a couple min lvl 13, Resistance 4 cloaks. Just assumed that Resistance 5 would be 15.

But there's definately something buggy with some of those min levels on a lot of items.

Have some Stat 5 items that are min lvl 9, no RR.

I would assume they left +5 resistance trinkets out in order to keep the Optic Nerves uber, only a guess though, and to the second post in this thread, i would also like to see the picture of the +5 res cloak you have.

I saw a RR Halfling, Lvl. 13 Required Cloak of Resistance. It was +4 ... didn't understand that at all.

I once pulled a +4 resistance cloak no rr ml 9 from the very first chest in Von 3 on Elite....

The ML thing is buggy in many instances. For instance have +6 Int goggles rr Halfling ML 9 they should be ML 11.
As far as resistance items +4 is highest I have found +5 would have to be RR but with the buggy ML thing never know might get lucky!!

ive seen +5 str gloves rr wf ML 13, which is weird

as for the +4 is ML 11 so +5 should be 13

as far as going for some +5 ML 9

before lvl increase items were made to fit the old current lvl capped

so at lvl 12 cap+loot weekend, turbine did not let items that were not usable like having a ML 14 item, and the lvl cap is 12

that is why back then when items were ML 13s, and we were lvl 12s, turbine went back and made those items 12

so as the lvl cap increased, the items we had that we looted when we were 12, made items that were +5 ML 9, but now the lvl cap is 14, the new ML is 11

There no PnP type restriction saying +5 is cap is there?

Tho I guess they could be consider being made with the shield of faith spell, which does cap at +5.

Since my wiz6 hat is lvl11 RR.. lvl13 rr should be 7. But they dont exist.
