To the people I ran deleras part 3 with last night

I wanted to apologize for dropping group in the middle very fast on my cleric Joracie. We had just started deleras 3 and you guys seemed to be having bad luck keeping the group going. I believe I said something along the lines of "got to go sorry" and hit quit. I just wana say sorry and explain what happened.

After eating dinner that night, I had taken my dog out for a quick potty trip. On the way back he started to chase leaves(one of his favorite pastimes, almost up there with chasing the little red dot A.K.A the laser pointer) He then went over to smell some flowers in the garden. So he sticks his head the bush and I began to hear a weird sound so asked him what he was doing and gently pulled on his leash and he refused to come out so I yanked him out, And out came a small brownish ball.

On closer inspection I though it was a bit of dirt, but on even closer inspection I realized it had eyes. It looked like a frog. My dog was now shaking his head like he was trying to get the taste out. Still something seemed wrong, What was a frog doing in the garden?

Thats when I realized. It wasn't a frog its a toad. My dog had heard or seen the toad move and gone in the bush to pick it up. For those of you that don't know, Toads let out a mixture of poisons when they are scared. By this time I was in side and my dog was shaking his head and foaming at the mouth and looked to be in pain. We called the emergency vet for instruction, And they told us to take him out side and wash his mouth out and then let me him drink some water and observe him.

To the person in the bidding war for the superior devotion 6 scepter last night, Sorry I have been looking for one of those for a LONG TIME! But literary right as I won the auction my dog began to get sick and throw up all over the place. After cleaning that up and another call to the emergency vet I got a short talk with a bored secretary who basically said" you can bring him in if you want I guess. It could be bad or it could be nothing I dunno. You should watch him. Maybe. And if he gets worse then you should bring him maybe.

Anyways he went back to sleep by my foot, And I found you guys so I went to play with my new scepter. well you can guess what happened I bet, He got up and looked at me, Then got sick again. Needles to say after all that happened that night I decided I couldn't play DDO anymore that night and had to take care of my puppy.

So today, After spending all morning registering at my school, I can happily say my dog appears to be perfectly fine, But I bet he won't be bitting any more toads.

Had a co-worker have her dogs go after a rattlesnake... not pretty.

They lived, but they were at the vet all night long.

Why do you do this? It ceased to be funny about 18 months ago. This fellow was just posting a nice apology.

I honestly don't remember posting this and read what he posted and was a little shocked to find my name in the thread. I believe I was not right, in the head.

Humour is a complex thing on varying levels. I still tittered, but after reviewing the story I might have waited for all the "Sorry to hear that" responses first before hijacking it.

Shout-Out threads will in my eyes always be funny and classic. I would encourage an apology directly to the persons in-game because they're rolling the dice and assuming they even read the forums when one posts an apologetic thread. It essentially IS a shout-out thread by the nature of the poster. They, however, haven't realized it yet.

Just imagine them putting an MTV Raps spin on their "To whoever, this is what's going down, be there for mad party'n and entertainment 2-nite to drop this props 2 you homes out!"
