Greetings-

I'm Kistilan, the Guildlistings Manager from Argonnessen. Anyway, I took a look at your guildlistings and all three are out-of-date and a quagmire of information. It looks like the original OPs may not even be active, and two of the threads are really just a "bump and post" thread with everyone knocking the next guy out of the way so someone interested in finding one of your guilds/guildleaders/officers/contact info/etc has to sift through pages of posts in hopes of finding the guild they're looking for that round.

I'd like to offer you guys a look at the Argonnessen Guildlistings as a model for a NEW Guildlisting to replace the three on your newly merged-Sarlona. It's time you guys merged by now with your guildlistings anyway, after all!

And now that I've said my two-coppers on that, let me get to my standardized message that's going out to every server. Thanks for reading and please contribute to this endeavor!

I've got some suggestions for your guild list if you care to take a look at Argonnessen's Guildlistings, which has been meticulously tweaked by three generations of managers in the last 1.5 years. I've run a tight ship over there concerning it, but I offer the format and maintenance process at least by utilizing a Ghallanda Calling All Guilds Quarterly or Semi-Annually. It would probably benefit your service greatly.

Also, I'm stepping down from the Argonnessen Guildlistings on October 1, 2007 and Aargos is taking over that position. I'm attempting to move into Ret Greenwood's old position at the Player to Player: Guild Matchup Forum. Please check out the latest post and add any comments or suggestions you or your fellow guilds may have in this process I'm creating to streamline all datas.

Hey, I'm just looking for one person willing to step-up at this point. We've all four other servers on-board for this shindig of a guildlistings massive revamp, and I'm hoping we can get you guys online too!

If anyone has any comments on what they'd like to see on the Guild Matchup Listings (Player to Player Guild Matchup), give a hollar on the current Listings in Guild Matchup. We're initializing the guild roster recreation thread (not the actual listings thread) in Guild Matchup this weekend (September 7-9). Stay tuned for more updates and check the Guild Matchup forum for information as it rolls out.

Anyone willing to take on Sarlona's guildlisting tasking, please send a PM to myself, Tihocan or Moonprophet (three current Guildlisting Managers from Argonnessen, Thelanis and Ghallndra).

Which i have to disagree with, considering the Sarlona server forum has more thread count than any of the other 5 servers, and has more replies than all of them but Thelanis.

Yeah, and most of those posts are in the trade section, while this area tends to remain dormant for days.

Hey guys-

Can you help me out? I need to find the Voice of Sarlona for something important. Basically, I'm looking for a person that knows just about everyone in a neutral manner (although cynnical or sardonic-views are actually a bonus in this neutral manner!) It's for a project unrelated to your guildlistings, which do still need someone to brush them up a bit. I'd have used the listings, but they're out-dated so I cannot even look for the proper users and single out the all-stars I need to find.

I'm looking for someone that can be a guide to Sarlona (and your merged server-people, not just Sarlona-born). The guide needs to be knowledgeable in people of incredible popularity, reknown and dispute, oppositional friction, and in general have a certain notoriety or eccentricity. I also need to know of guilds of such types and the stories behind them that created their notoriety. Is it a claim to fame? A frictional opposition? A stance of unpopularity at the time or currently? This is the information that the guide IE "Voice of Sarlona" must provide. You will be credited for your work (this is non-profit, but you'll get credit).
