    Default Concentration Checks

    Ever try to open a chest, search for a door/trap, or open a door and get hit only having to start over? I find it frustrating too. What does everyone, devs included, think of adding a concentration check when getting hit to maintain concentration and not have to start over?

    Not a bad idea at all IMO. However, those with no Concentration will clamor for a skill respec. Even though I do like your idea, I am more against a skill respec then I am in favor of your idea.

    Never understood what takes so long, and so much concentration to open a door or pull a lever. But I guess it's better than not being able to open them like the baddies.

    I think it is to simulate the full round action that they are supposed to take in PnP, but in PnP you can make a concentration check to avoid being interrupted.

    Sweet, now i can run to a chest at the end, with all the aggro on me, and still be able to open it by just raising 1 skill. I think those you mentioned should be broken upon a hit... of course i'm going to want to pick a lock while a giant is slapping me around the head.

    usually the DC is damage dealt, so it is not exactly an easy check to make while a giant is slapping you in the back of the head.
