It wasn't I that said that, but reguardless...

Its funny to me though that in the process of saying that you felt the need to talk about how smoking hot your wife is. You have bragged about your wife, your play skills, your self knowledge, your guild, your intentions and so on... So what I wonder is why you do it so frequenly.

Men are by nature fairly competative so all that bragging is going to promote guys to challenge you and give you flack for the attitude, even if you are only speaking truth of your mad l337 skillz etc...

Most folks I know that do that much bragging... are insecure about how great they are. I don't know you well enough to judge that at all, but that's the impression I get of you because of how you post. I think pretty highly of myself but I try not to boast about it because I'm not looking to challenge anyone and I don't want to look the fool when inevitably, someone proves me wrong.

But back to the point of the thread, Loki I don't know you from Adam, but I respect that you're trying to get your wife involved. The asking for specific builds in your "learning party" leaned a bit too much toward "Geez that dude is anal!" in my opinion, (Come on... you can't mastermind EVERY quest! )but still, I am no one to judge. I think it's great that they're interested and you can learn a bit in the process too. Cool.

I think its great to get your wife playing. Lord knows I'd be in a dark cold place if my wife didn't love gaming as much as I did. I'm endlessly proud that she's ever bit as geeky as I am, sometimes more. And I'd dare say she's more fun to play with than I am. (oh no.. now I'm doing it... )

Oh I have a lot to say here that would harvest more IPs by the bushel, I'm sure. I'll just say that Loki and his detractors in this thread (and any other) remind me of the last chapter of Animal Farm. Looking in from the outside, I can no longer tell the difference between the pigs and the men.

Sometimes. When I was at university we used to have these nut job preacher guys that would come to campus unbidden and give soapbox speaches about all kinds of nonsense. When I felt they were being down right dishonest and full of ****.. I'd step up and tell them what I thought and point out all the logical flaws and hypocracy in what they were saying. If they want to come out and speak to everyone uninvited.. I'll happily talk back and tell them what I think.

At a meeting, if someone says something I think is wrong or is counter productive. I'll say something.

If I'm at a game store and folks are arguing about the rules of a game I know.. I'll but in and let them know what I know.

This is a public discussion board. The whole point is for us to all talk to one another. There are private emails if you want to talk privately. I only but inn when I have something I want to say, to observer or comment etc... That's what we all do here. I'm not much for small talk.

Wasn't sure I would the first time I went up there but as I drove into a town I saw a big billboard that sort of warmed me up to Canada.
