Default Durable Build Ideas For Permadeath?

My guild has started a permadeath sub-guild. Having fun with it so far, but I am sure my warforged 2-handed barbarian is going to be a handfull to keep alive in later levels. Anyone got recommendations for a sturdy, durable build? My main is a caster and I figured I'd just run a CC focused sorcerer, but I remember back to the odd occasion when the mass of pink hats all broke free around the same time... ouch. A warforged palidin would be about as good as it gets, right? How about a dwarven battle cleric? Anyone got ideas? I do have 32 point builds available, but we are not allowed to use stuff other than what we as a group loot, so no equiptment considered in the equaion. Give me your insight folks!

    Default Builds

search AC and tank builds, as well as strategist builds.

The sorc idea is pretty good, as well as a wf wiz. Ranged spec'd also could work.

Permadeath is all about playstyle; you can make anything work as long as you learn to play to that particular build. And learn to run away. Running away can be the best thing you can do to "enhance" your build, along with shutting doors! Feel free to call it "falling back".

Any build will work. My wf warchanter does just fine. Death occurs when communication breaks down, usually. The pink hats will have a party at your place eventually. Welcome to permadeath.
